What would be considered non-insured work?
Any construction project unrelated to the loss is considered non-insured work. At your request, we will provide a separate estimate for non-insured construction projects, and this work will require separate authorization and payment terms. If the non-insured work will delay the completion of an insured portion, then the situation must first be discussed with your Insurance Adjuster and the ServiceMaster Restore Project Manager.

Some things you may want to consider are safety concerns, odours, electricity, and disruption as a result of the equipment, work and noise that may be necessary to complete the restoration process in your home. If vacating your premises during the process, consider forwarding your mail to your temporary residence; stopping your newspaper and other deliveries; notifying your utility company, cable company, etc., of the temporary suspension of services during the restoration process.
